Keep Watch

Playing with the Io legend, wherein Zeus falls in love with Io (his own granddaughter?), Hera attempts to thwart him by turning her into a white cow (of course?) and then sets her hundred-eyed monster Argos to keep watch over her (doesn't end well for him, but at least Hera uses his eyes to decorate the peacock).

Obviously this story doesn't add up to a creepy-romantic picture of a creepy 80's hair too-many-eyes guy cozying up to a less than thrilled girl with cow horns, but.... You know what? This popped into my head and wanted to be drawn so I drew it and here it is.
